We also have additional pictures of most pieces, so please feel to request these(with pieces ID number) along with any questions you may have about the pieces. With this information a shipping quote can readily be provided, which will be sent via return e-mail. When payment is processed, you can expect the Purchases be arrived in the expected date.

Now we only accept the Bank to Bank Transfer Payment. You can expect receiving our Strange Currency Account in HSBC Banking. We accept Foreign Currency can be USD, HKD,JPY,EUR,GBP,CAD,AUD,SGD.

Shipping&Fees:
We divided our business into retail business(less container, packed by wooden carton) and full container business. So it has two ways followed.


Retail business:
The fees of retail selling business are composed of Packing fees, Exporting Documents fees and Shipping Fee.

#1 Packing: As we sell antiques & its accessories, and great care needs to be taken in packaging and
handling we use several companies that specialize in shipping antiques.


#2 Exporting Documents Fees:
The Exporting Documents consist of Certificates of Origin, Fumigation Certificates, Bills of Lading,
Invoice&Packing List, so can clear custom when the goods arrived. It will be different from different places, write to Cathie order@easterncurio.com, and the return e-mail will help you to clarify it. What's the ' Document '?

#3 Shipping: Eastern Curio will provide more detailed and correct freight charges from Shanghai China to different Seaport and Destination place. Remarks: Shipping fees fluctuate with port, season and price of oil. All pieces are wrapped and marked with ID mumber on the outside. We can also arrange the shipment has the inland destination, trucks or trains will bring the merchandise to you. Shipping is normally within one week after funds are received.

Full Container business: The most common way to ship furniture abroad is by sea. There are three different kind of containers according to their size:
1- The 20 feet container: it has a capacity of 28 cubic
meters and measures 5.89m(L)X2.35(W)X2.39(H).
2- The 40 feet container: it has a capacity of 56 cubic
meters and measures 12.03m(L)X2.35(W)X2.39(H).
3- The High Cube 40 feet container: it has a capacity of
70 cubic meters and measures 12.03m(L)X2.35(W)X2.69(H).

A 20 feet container can load between 35 to 150 pcs of furniture & accessories.
A 40 feet container can load between 250 to 400 pcs of furniture & accessories.
These numbers are, of course, an average estimation based on our personal shipping experience: it all depends on the pieces' size.

#1 Packing Fees: We will only offer you its packing cost.

#2 Exporting Documents Fees: The Exporting Documents consist of Certificates of Origin, Fumigation Certificates, Bills of Lading, Invoice&Packing List. 20 inch container about USD560, 40 inch about USD750.

#3 Shipping: The return e-mail from order@easterncurio.com will be sent to you about shipping cost after got the destination area, such as address, port. We can also arrange the shipment has the inland destination, trucks or trains will bring the merchandise to you. our workers put the strong wooden cartons into the truck to catch up the loose container from Shanghai to abroad.	the huge 40 foot container from vessel company CHINA SHIPPING waiting for our workers to finish load 400pieces into the container.	the strong timber cartons, inside has hundreds of pieces porcelain, dishes,plates,ceramic figure,pot,etc. It is time to ship them to abroad!
while loading the container, our professional colleages check each piece by each piece which load into the container and mark down into notebook to see if they are all loaded into the container.	few space has been left after we load most of the pieces into the 20 foot container. it is terrible! since few container space left, but some of them still left outside of the container. we are trying to put all of the pieces into the container with our upmost efforts.	we use our 11 workers to put the part of Ancient Building into the container, it has 2000 KGS. and our electric lift help us a lot during this time loading.
the container is finished loading at the midnight time about 11 o'clock. we nearly spend 3 hours to finish loading this container. now it is left for the shanghai dock, one day's job is finished...	you can see what kinds of strong packing we use for us to pack the furnitures. usually we use two layers to pack them, the inner layer is by the plastic, second layer(outside of the first layer) is the paper carton, finially packed them with the strong plastic strip.	we will finish loading the container if this last piece is put into.
